This is the .xsession-errors log for a good login I had right after

it was. So the new kernel 2.6.27.11 was not available on booting and
with the older kernel there was an incompatibility issue with nvidia

I have a similar problem on my Dell Vostro 1310, but only at about 10-20% of my
logins. Usualy after one or two restarts keyboard and mouse work again.
