Binary package hint: usplash
Setting up framebuffer device does not work with usplash. Booting with kernel
options `splash vga=791` causes a blank screen. I know there are problemes like
this for a long time in ubuntu, but I cannot solve them with any known
workaround.

OK, I've also found something out about the pid problem !!!
In fact it seems that the init script is managing the pid file, and the
application also... It also the reason why the server often complains about
missing pid file when trying to stop it or restart...

What I do when I mess around with this stuff is that I launch
alsamixer and then I press TAB to switch to the capture related mixer
controllers and the finally I use arrow keys to adjust capture volume
and I use CTRL-C to exit.

My System has been updated to Alpha - now Jaunty/KDE4.2.2 - had Probs
with kde-icon-oxygen on several Upgrades - after re-installing this kde-
icon-oxygen Pakage I get the same Error here:

The issue is exactly as in my first post. Open evolution with the
account connected to a Microsoft exchange server; switch to calendar;
data begins to populate the calendar, but after 10 to 20 seconds, data
disappears and the evolution calendar quit unexpectedly warning

I'm connected to the other PC. The image stays static, only the mouse
moves, but if i click on something, like open a file, for example, and i
reconnect, the file has been open. So, the problem is only at the image
refresh.

Current Operating System: Linux mindvirus-laptop 2.6.27-8-eeepc-lean
Kernel 2.6.27 does not have GEM. Therefore UXA cannot work.
If you want to test UXA, you will need to use at least a 2.6.28 kernel.

I can confirm that on affected system is 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) SATA IDE
Controller.
On another computer without mentioned IDE Controller is 2.6.28-11 running fine.
