For me, the 2.6.28 kernel does trigger it. Running 2.6.27-14 works fine.

Hi Rolf, I have the same version of Nautilus as you, as I stated in my
previous post ;)
I have all repos activated, including proposed and backports. I have the
eject button in places view but I'm using tree. The effect is as of
