I had the fix applied in Jaunty, and on upgrade to karmic, it still works.
I'm not sure if it's because the fix stuck, or if karmic alpha3 fixes it, but I
have sound :)

I only ran the LiveCD so I didn't get a login screen. I haven't

Vertical scrolling works on my laptop as usual,
horizontal scroll doesn't.
Like the forum discussion states, "synclient tapbutton1=1" enables
tapping for some.
using "synclient horizedgescroll=1" horizontal scroll acts like an vertical one.
But that may just be an malformed command...

I can confirm this bug. I damaged some DVDs because I didn't watch the
burning process and ejected DVD too early as I thought something is

GConf keys for the touchpad settings now, so gnome-mouse-properties is
modifying the wrong keys. We need to port gnome-mouse-properties to the

could have dragged a Konsole icon from the application launcher to the

When compiz desktop effects is ON and nvidia-restricted driver installed
