At this point, it seems pretty clear to me that no one is really working
on this for Jaunty; if you must use Januty, the only thing I can suggest
is to use a mainline kernel --- any mainline kernel, whether it is
2.6.28, 2.6.29, or 2.6.30 will work fine. The problem seems to be in

Maybe you should remove it. I went into synaptic, and removed all of the
kubuntu and KDE packages, and then the error message went away. I think the
kubuntu-docs package is causing the problems but that is

I know, but I can't go back to 1.2 again. The stable ppa still has 0.9.2 and
it won't work for some reason. Some webkit compatibility issues i think. It
displays bubbles but can't render the messages. No error messages are coming
out in any form.

I've had a flicker just after upgrading and another after a restart.
