Hello.
Since azureus 4.2.0.4-1 I've disabled *core* updates within azureus. I hope you
agree with my decision that the debian archive must have precedence over
individual updates, and we shouldn't let break sync with it.

thanks for the details about crc checking, indeed the dbg is broken in
hardy, you can use the dbgsym which doesn't have this issue in hardy
apparently, closing the bug since the karmic version is fixed and that
bug doesn't justify a stable update for hardy especially that it's

I have the same problem on a system updated from Kubuntu 8.10 to 9.04
(and then updating to KDE 4.3)

I see a grey background for Pidgin and Twinkle.
Looking at /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin/tray/16, I find this application
ships *.ico files *shock and horror*. I don't think this is related
though.
Looking at the various pixmaps, they all have transparent backgrounds.

Sorry for the delay. The life out of launchpad kept me busy.
I updated the language packs to 1.9.04+20090803.2 and cleaned any old remaining.
Now, almost everything shows in basque.
Only printer settings remains in another language. I attached some
screenshots showing the wrong strings (I'm sure
seems to be a kernel issue.
