I applied the A03 BIOS update and SUCCESS, 32-bit live enabled the
wireless and I made successful connections.

I took a look at the script in the current karmic package, and you were right,
i did write this myself, hence why all the old, non-working commented lines are

I have two 19 LCD monitors attached by VGA (with DVI adaptors). I tried
to boot into the daily live as well, and got the same problem I was
having with the desktop, just ending up with a blank screen.
I tried to re-install the drivers using Hardware Drivers, and was then

The best solution here is to have the application that is requesting
attention to do so with the window manager as well. This way the window
with the chat can also call for attention. Please file bugs on the

I don't like spaces in key names, that's too error prone IMHO.
BTW,__setitem__() does not alter any key name, the replaces() are just
for filtering out allowed characters so that the remainders can be
checked with isalnum(). replace() doesn't change the original string.
