C isn't my native language, so I haven't had much luck reading the
source code for the answer. However, I suspect it's either hardcoded
within tracker or derived from some other setting, then applied to

My LUG friends tell me that their system are affected too but with
generic kernel their systems don't freeze. Instead linux-rt incur in a
hard freeze of the system (neither sysreq keys works!). Policy would

order to fix this. It wasn't sufficient. I finally wiped the whole

I am using Compiz / Emerald, and if I have Firefox + any other
application (e.g. Terminal, Pidgin - any other app) open on one side of
the cube, and other applications open on other faces of the cube,
returning focus to Firefox using the mouse

I have moved ~/.mozilla to ~/Private/.mozilla and created a symlink at
~/.mozilla
This means that firefox is prevented from starting by apparmor.
Firefox refuses to start, claiming that it is already running and not
responding.
