Okay, this has shown up twice in Karmic unfortunately. Attached is the
upstream patch to fix this, I will see if I can get this into Karmic
somehow.
If you are affected by it now, edit the file
/usr/share/pyshared/wxbanker/wxbanker.py and insert the line:

I have the same problem here on the latest version of Jaunty. It is
especially bad when the TrackerLiveSearch applet is enabled, it crashes
on almost every search then.

The problem disappered with the latest Evolution version in Jaunty. The
duplicate folder disappeared. There still is another problem as now the default
Persönlichl Adress book is no longer duplicate and can be renamed. But after
a restart of evolution the name flips back to the default name
I can confirm this.
I fixed this for myself a long time ago by simply adding -X to the pidof
command in laptop-mode-tools/modules/battery-level-polling.
Yesterday I did an aptitude safe-upgrade and the file was overwritten with the
buggy version without the -X switch again.

up my nokia phone via Bluetooth dont get the /dev/rfcomm0 created when i

patch blkid to force read the uuid's from every type of signature it

We discussed that in #ubuntu-release. Given how close karmic's release
is, we think this is a viable strategy:
(1) For karmic, patch blkid to prefer luks over ext*
Rationale: This has been the behaviour for years, and worked well.
We also know that creating a luks volume did not properly

Bugs,
Prompted by the character of the fix, I found an i386 machine to check
on - as you might expect, the bug is not present there - only on amd64
etc. where int is a different size than size_t.
