Connected my other Keyboard (logitech wireless): Logitech Multimediakeys
worked, Cherry got stuck.
Disconnected cherry and connected it to another USB-Port: Cherry keys work.

This would be a problem in the selector in the installer, not in tzdata.
Do you still have the problem in current karmic?

Using Ubuntu 9.10 64bit ed
I copy a file (about 600-700MB) to an SD card, it goes on to tell me the
status of the copying through the File Operations dialog, which is
great. Looks like it is making great progress... then gets to the end
(100% copied) and just sits there for
P.S. I don't recall this problem in 9.04 64bit
