I have a multiseat - pc with 2 grapiccards, 2 monitors, 2 mice, 2 keyboards.
This works fine for me.
When i insert a USB-Stick or a SD-Card, it will mount correctly for me on
seat1. It will display on the Desktop and all other works

This does indeed work in the Lucid kernel which as I was told runs
straight in karmic without recompilation. Setting to fix released. If
somebody figures out what it was exactly that fixed this and provides a

I see the Segmentation fault error immediately on boot. It's

But in 1 of 5 system boots two-finger scrolling works fine without cursor

I have the same problem with Fedora 12 (updated, kernel
2.6.31.6-166.fc12.i686.PAE) on the hp compaq elitebook 2530p.
It seems to be working better after adding the parameter nomodeset at
the end of the kernel line in /boot/grub/grub.conf.
It also seems to have solved some small graphic issues

That's precisely why it is better to work with the symbolic links as
they did in Ubuntu 9.04 and before:
cd /usr

Although I'm generally fairly pleased with the way Lucid handles my
Huawei 3G USB modem, the handling is not as smooth as in Karmic. Most
irritating is the fact that when I plug in the modem, network manager
will almost consistently fail
