I'm running Karmic x64 on an Acer TravelMate 6292.
When I plug in my Huawei E172 USB HSPA modem, it sometimes shows up in
Network Manager and other times not. I can sometimes fix it by
unplugging and plugging in again (in another USB

except the Sun Logo on the top-left, that's not printed at all.

The latest gstreamer updates applied today which have a patch to fix sub
titles in Totem did not have any effect on this bug. Totem still grays
out and refuses to play DVD's. If I open the video_TS folder on the
DVD, I can use Totem to play all the vob files without problems.

Eugene, your issue is a separate bug, as the IBM jre is not currently supported
by the profile. You should be able to get it to work by adding to
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox-3.5 the following:
/usr/lib/j2re1.6-ibm/jre/bin/java Uxr,
and then perform:
$ sudo apparmor_parser -W -T -r

Hi, I have Dell Latitude E4200 with an integrated intel graphics, latest
Karmic; I had the same problem, mouse clicks in launcher worked only in
in certain places, both in tabs and for application icons. Mouse
highlight worked ok, though.

After talking with Ken Vandine. He mentioned to bring this up in this
bug for consideration in Lucid. It would make much more sense to have
the power icon show for any time that there is NO IM service in use on
the computer. Since IM clients can set an offline state, the offline
status icon
