I have the same problem as Lelamal with a Fujitsu Lifebook T5010: when I
try to suspend or hibernate under Karmic, the machine never actually

I have a dell studio hybrid (x386) and been running 8.10 with no
problems. Upgraded to 9.10 and tried to install the broadcom driver. It
hung the system had to use the big button. Then the system was broken ..

And imported all the relevant translations from gdm-2.20 into gdm-2.28
(using a perl script to grab+insert into files, so there may be error,
although I'm confident there isn't).

before the gvfs-mount command has fully taken effect. My workaround is
