Anyone make any progress with this issue?
I have the same problem. I've just assembled a new machine from scratch
based on an Asus P6TWS Pro motherboard and 9.10 will NOT recognize my
Raid1 array on bootup.
I've followed the Fakeraid howto, and have reinstalled half a dozen
times so far. No way

remounting isn't enough to solve the problem; the problem is that I
can't remount after resume, it's like the kernel no longer sees the

In Karmic xinelib causes audio jitters by endless fixing sound card drift
I too have this problem. I have a Samsung R620 with a RealTek 8192E and
Ndiswrapper runs OK until I transfer a large file. It usually fails
quickly - after a few tens of Mb transferred.
If I open the Windows Wireless Drivers control panel and remove then re-
add the WinXP driver then the wifi

This issue has been solved decades ago by the same engineers who designed one
of the first successful GUIs: the Macintosh. IIRC this feature was available
ever since I remember using a Mac, and that means ~ Mac OS 6, in the late 1980s.
