I installed Ubuntu 9.10 from cd and the same usb port worked with the
same usb stick and mediaplayer.
I also noticed that my dvd burner was not found, I downloaded the Ubuntu image
on this machine and could not burn it with
k3b since the drive was not available. I haven't been using kde 4, but
I tried using RT3572USB driver, dated 12/22/2009, version 2.3.0.0, with

Well silly me! The first thing I thought of this AM was trying this
again in Safe Graphics mode.
Your fix works just fine. I'll ask at the forums for someone else to
please confirm that this is fixed.

I have the problem with firefox-3.5.6 on lucid with cs_CZ.UTF-8 locales.
As workaround I can start firefox with C or en_US.UTF-8 locales, which shows
expected page about certificate issue.

I think he means the following:
Say you have a folder in your home directory called 'parent', which contains
the folders 'child1', 'child2' and 'child3', and you're in folder 'parent'. In
the navigation bar you'll see something like
home parent
Now in Vista/7, you can press a little arrow
I found a workaround:
edit /usr/share/applications/gqview.desktop
and change Exec=gqview -r %F to Exec=gqview %F
That will solve the problem.

Hmm, I've noticed that when i press next song key on my keyboard Rhythmbox is
using aditional memory...
It's the same with automatic shifting the song, Rhythmbox use extra memory for
that!
But, probably that is not the problem because leak is too big.

libvirt 0.7.5 wil run qemu/kvm hypervisor as user libvirt-qemu group libvirtd.
so add user libvirt-qemu to group kvm to make qemu use of kvm. The same vor
kqemu.
In next release libvirt =0.7.5-2ubuntu0~dnjl1) this is automatically done in
postinst.

[PPA] VT is not used with libvirt
The script will just fetch the plugins, but some scripts require the
nes-plugins, which are provided by openvas-plugins-base and are binary
packages. So just grabbing the openvas-nvt-sync script will not fully
solve your problem.
