means the client will not upload anything.

About the -T switch it refers to the perl -T option (Perl tainted mode),

You can turn on debug logs in syncdaemon, following these 3 steps:
1. stop the syncdaemon client and applet, and be sure it's fully stopped

I have simmilar issue. When trying to start Firefox with 10 tabs
