The following worked for me:
cd /etc/php5/cli/conf.d
sudo perl -pi.bk -e 's/(\s*)#/\1;/' *ini
sudo mkdir bk
sudo mv *.bk bk
Which only catches comments at the start of a line; also, backups of the
original files are in the /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/bk directory.

BR 10 FE on my Win7 partition, and was testing it by backing up and

I second. However, the UI changes, if we remove a whole element. I
suggest that the bar background was visible, but the handle was
removed. This way the UI location wouldn't change, and the
unscrollability (is that a word?) would be at least a bit more obvious.

I was able to get both ubuntuone-gnome-client and ubuntuone-kde working
on Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. Here's the full report:

I had no fine volume control as the only apparent range of loudness was
limited to 30% of the slider in the sound applet. Now I can control the
master volume with the subtler increase or decrease in volume.
By the way, my laptop is the Asus K40IJ.
