and blocking XOrg after a while. What you see is Xorg grabbing 100% CPU
and locking completely (Mouse moves, but the pointer don't change

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I can't now supply the package number
because I have wiped the hard drive and reinstalled a new copy of ubuntu. I
thought that was the easiest way forward for me. Although a newbie I find
