Booting into recovery mode and selecting resume normal
Well, I don't think the rfkill status is related to the driver. It is an
interaction with the
bios as far as I know...
But thanks for your input :)

@Chris Halse Rogers,
I'm not quite sure how to install your testcase version. When I go to
uninstall the one I installed a few days ago from the PPA suggested by
Marco, it wants to uninstall every xorg related thing. When I went to
install your suggested one, it went ahead and installed it, but
This worked for me:
sudo chown -R myusername $HOME/.kde
I also tried sudo kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental first so this may have
made a difference too, but I would try above first.

This is still happening in 10.10; updated dmesg from initial crash, and
gdb backtrace from one that occured on next run attached, noting symbols
for some related libraries missing. Its random in that it is not easily
reproduced as it happens on startup.

This bug is still in latest 10.10 release.
If I type vimtutor in a terminal on a new install it tells me to run:
sudo apt-get install vim-runtime
only problem is that after that if I type
vimtutor I get a blank/empty file as mentioned.
Only way to fix it is to install the full vim package

Hi Hpeck,
I don't think our bugs are related: in both cases, the system cannot
find the disks, but in your case it is because the name have changed
from one version to the other, in my case all my disks are already
referenced by their uuid, so no such problem. For me, the system cannot
see any
for the record, I have the exact same issue too. I've tried the
suggested fixes above and they did not work.
