Like the rest of you I am also affected by this bug 3 different systems.
Two laptops and One Desktop, all with intel processors. After recent
upgrades from Lucid to Maverick each system has various problems
resuming from suspend. I haven't had a chance to try 2.6.36 yet but will
this weekend and
I can trigger this quite reliably in Lucid. It seems to happen with 3 of
my 4 external USB disks, at least so far. I just need to copy a few
hundred GB of data, and most days it will happen eventually - sometimes
rather quickly, sometimes it copies for a few hours before happening. So
long in fact
I just wanted to note that this issue persists on Maverick AMD64.

real culprit seems to be the transparency of the panel. The panel with
the wnck-applet needs to have both auto-hide and transparency enabled

I had the same problem of Kantastisk, trying to grab the calendar
results in just an empty title=, which matches all windows and
therefore places all windows in same position. Manually entering

I mean that it failed to mount my raid arrays. Using sudo dmraid -ay only
causes it to set there on the terminal with a blinking cursor doing nothing. I
can type in it like it's waiting for something, but it's to no avail.
As for ls /dev/mapper, it only shows the file control.

in a terminal (vt2) apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-input-mouse 663203 doesn't
work. It gives the error message:

You can reset the credentials by removing the file

I can confirm that changing future date (whose timestamp is greater than 32 bit
signed integer) to smaller value solves the problem.
To change the date, edit FSpot database (in my case it was
~/.config/f-spot/photos.db) with sqlite manager and execute the following query:

First of all this is kinda general problem of all webapps, not sure if
there is some general rule for this.
More importantly the web server configuration is not enabled by default,
what would in most case lead to broken menu item.
