bring up the interfaces with 'sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart', but
restarting resolvconf wipes /etc/resolv.conf clean.

Not sure what's wrong then, in any case this isn't a bug in apport but
in python-launchpadlib, apport just calls Launchpad.login_with() which
then opens the browser for the credentials.
