The code in the patch looks sane to me, and applied cleanly against my
installation of wordpress 2.9.2-1ubuntu1 (Lucid).
The patched WP's blog seems to work properly afterward; I restarted
Apache and logged in as admin, created a new post and 2 comments and

gnome-display-properties places a small floating window in the top left
corner of every screen. This window is used to help identity each
screen.
Unity's panel and launcher both display above the screen name- thus
obscuring it.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This particular crash has already been reported and is a
duplicate of bug #645922, so is being marked as such. Please
ClamTk should have no impact on the screensaver and I am unable to
duplicate this problem. I have both Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 in virtual
machines, and the screensaver works fine with ClamTk installed.
I'm happy to help, but I'm not an Ubuntu expert - so if anyone out there

Start Monitor Preferences from System-Preferences-Monitors
Uncheck Same image in all monitors
