I'm not sure, but some update recently may have fixed it. It hasn't happened
again accidentally, but I'll try to do it on purpose.
One other thing that may help, for me it only occurred after I had run killall5
in tty6 after a compiz crash.
killall5 logged out my session by killing gdm, then gdm
Replaced with icedtea6-plugin in the natty branch, rev 620. I'll

that does not handle gdb attaching properly, so this is a workaround to get a

Just want to +1 this but I don't get blurriness, the panels just stop
rendering updates. When I sleep my Laptop (AMD Fusion C-50 based
chipset) the side-bar and the top menu-bar both remain static and stop
updating graphically, but seem to respond to input. A good example is
