Hi, after installing Natty, I found myself with the wrong keyboard
layout. So, I installed the correct layout, and now had 2 layouts. Since
it seems almost random which of the 2 is chosen on boot, I want to
remove the incorrect one. So I go to System Settings-Keyboard
On my side I bought the very same laptop with Nvidia VM4200 card and everything
works like a charm (resolution, external display, suspend to ram).
I remastered the Intel based laptop (the one that flickers) with Win7 only and
it works like a charm on Win7 (no flickering at all).
I do believe
Try clicking, right-click or left-click just to the right of that. On my
panel, there is a small space between that icon and the items to the
right. That space is where I click to do things to the timer. In
previous versions, I could click the bar itself, but that no longer has
any effect. I

I have installed just now the package pitivi 0.14.0-2~lucid2, but the issue
is still present in my Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit.
When I run Pitivi the error message for wrong binding of gtk+ library 2.17.0
instead 2.18.0 is displayed as before.

I have a HP Pavilion DV6, and I have the same problem occasionally. I
think it happens maybe 1 in 30 boots, and sometimes the machine will
freeze so nothing can be done - sometimes I am able to press Alt-F2 and
see the error from the screenshot.
