Turns out the issues with ICEauthority was because my home was not
getting decrypted by ecryptfs-mount-private. This was a seperate issue
and you can workaround it by chvt'ing and running:
rm -r /dev/shm
ln -s /run/shm /dev/shm
and then trying to log in. Your home will then be decrypted.

Uhm... i just got an idea regarging design of those icons mmm, but

Last night I installed a new nVidia driver and got it working fine.
Booted up this morning - that was fine as well
After a long(!) time - several hours as opposed to 20-30 minutes, I got
the slow-down again. Logged out and in again and it seemed to work. Shut
down. Booted

Regular/Italic/Bold/Bold-Italic. We worked around it in natty by just
not shipping some of the .ttfs. The intention would be to ship all
thirteen .ttfs for Oneiric and instead to fix the software. (Same
happens for other
g-c-c shows up empty in my user account, and in a new test account, whether i
log in from lightdm or gdm. running it from a term produces no output at all.
but i noticed that it does work _inside_ lightdm if with the unity theme set.
