I switch workspaces a lot so i found it usefull to be able to switch them even
quicker by assigning the directions to the arrow
If you're left-handed, Unity is unbearable! I want the window buttons on
the right side. I want the launcher on the right side. And I want the
system menu on the left. Just provide these options! Stop discriminating
left-handed people! Aren't Linux users always promoting how customizable
Linux is?
Also, I'm using tomboy-1.8.0-1ubuntu1.

Yes it's a settings issue. But I regard it as a bug in the upgrade
procedure, since the settings where ok in 11.04, but where broken in
11.10. I've not had any upgrade issue's with Ubuntu till 11.10 and liked
to brag about that as a selling argument for Ubuntu, now I can no
longer say that
Just adding my vote here. I have seen this ever since upgrading to 11.10 on
multiple machines.
It is really annoying.
This happens on a 64-bit desktop and a 32-bit laptop. (I can't remember, but
I think the laptop had 11.10 installed
directly and wasn't an upgrade.)

activating power management decreases the throughput to ~150KB/s. But
sometimes, after a reboot and even without activating pm, the throughput

I am the original reporter. I just installed a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 alpha
with Firefox 8, and there the default filename is Mozilla.pdf, so I
consider this bug fixed.
(Although I remember that in some early Firefox, the default file name
was the tag title.pdf, which would be cool, but that is

This is a highly annoying bug, I am darn near ready to remove the unity
desktop because of it.
In Chromium/Chrome you cannot move the back button so you are really
stuck, it is now my default browser.
I think a much more simple fix would be to allow moving the launcher bar
to the right side of
