I just tested after updating the kernel to 3.0.0-16.29 and the problem went
away on my laptop. Thanks for your support.

Have same issue, but with my own GTK2 Application.
I have a dynamic menu items. They will be added and removed many times in
runtime. Global menu filtern items, that haven't an action or sub menu. So, if
i add some child menu items, they will be no visible in global menu.

After upgrading to LibreOffice 3.5/Precise, LibreOffice stops using my
personal settings

i install ubuntu 12.04 beta version, it working fine but after run apt-
get upgrade command and restart, unity going to crash. Then i remove
compiz and reinstall it. But there is no help.

Ok, I've tested the new aptdaemon and the patch from mvo, combined they
fix the issue \o/ I've backported the patch to precise, Conor you might
want to merge it to trunk as well ;-)
