was simply a single-bit memory or disk error that broke the checksum of
your conffile.

Yes, it succeeded when I performed just a rename of the usr.sbin.mysqld
under /etc/apparmor.d
So my guess is that something is broken under the mysqld file in
apparmor that needs to be fixed.

I have this problem, though after that update my laptop didn't boot at
all. It didn't boot with the previous kernel either. I managed to boot
recovery mode and figured out that downgrading from bcmwl-5.100.82.38
+bdcom-0ubuntu6.1 to bcmwl-5.100.82.38+bdcom-0ubuntu6 allowed to boot
normally.

So, funny thing. I just sat down with two computers (my ubuntu 12.04 and
my husband's windows 7 netbook) and conducted a few screensharing skype
calls. For some reason the only way I can execute an action is if my
husband typed a short message to me in Skype. So for example I'd click

Hi to all, unfortunately I cannot build the .27 from steffen git in
launchpad. Previously I have thought that was due to a partial commit
from Steffen, but now I see that this package builds with no errors at
all in my local machine, so there should be something wrong with
launchpad build system.
Okay, so I had the same problem, but kind of fixed it.
Firstly, delete the .gstreamer-0.10 folder in your home drive.
Install Synaptic, then searched for gstreamer and just installed all the
plugins: good, bad, ugly variants as well.

libopenal1 not installed correctly No sound at all in ut2k4

I have just upgraded Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 64 bit. My sound works in
general, but not in one of my games, UT2K4. Upon examination, I
discovered libopenal1 is not correctly installed. If I look in synaptic
it says it is installed. I also tried reinstalling it.

/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
of the affectd machine.
