[Bug 997597] [NEW] pdftops crashes on signal 6
Public bug reported: occasionally cups printing fails with printing pdf documents. Cups 1.5.2 running on oneiric. If the crash occurs depends on number of document pages, number of requested print copies, and the content of the pdf. I have a high rate of crashes with a document stream where a pdf is merged with anoter pdf as watermark by using pdftk and then handed over via lpr to the cups server. I had to discontinue usage of oneiric as cups server, and rolled back to 11.10 for productive use. ** Affects: cups-filters (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/997597 Title: pdftops crashes on signal 6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups-filters/+bug/997597/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 995079] Re: Internal server error when accessing nova/instances_and_volumes/ via horizon
I've rebuilt my environment. An important thing is that openstack- dashboard package, on ubuntu, uses a configuration file in /etc /openstack-dashboard/local_settings.py. In this file there is an indication of what role the Dashboard will use. OPENSTACK_HOST = 127.0.0.1 OPENSTACK_KEYSTONE_URL = http://%s:5000/v2.0; % OPENSTACK_HOST OPENSTACK_KEYSTONE_DEFAULT_ROLE = Member So, we have to ensure that the Member role was created in keystone. Some documentation don't create this role. Now Dashboard is working here. I thing the problem was this role. [Bug 933776] Re: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows. It shows only windows from curent workspace.
@corey: Actually the dependencies don't matter. I'll just branch the upstream compiz code, apply the patch, put my branch on launchpad and submit a merge proposal. Launchpad is really awesome in how easy it makes participation. Working on Ubuntu packages is a bit more difficult. I'll have to find the package where the default key bindings are set (I'm pretty sure I already know where to look), create a patch and put that patch into the quilt system for the package. I've messed this up countless times, so we'll have to see :-) But addings Doughs patch should be quickly done. I'll be at home in 6 hours and do it! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933776 Title: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows. [Bug 771896] Re: No way to save current session
I have made a workaround until this gets fixed. It is a script that helps to configure your session. Just paste this at terminal: cd ~/ wget -c http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4098082/session.config chmod +x ~/session.config ~/session.config You can view the code of script ( http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4098082/session.config ), there are explanations in each part. It will create a startup script which will move to each viewport and open the specified application. *Removing* To remove any changes made by my script just delete this files: - ~/session.config - ~/sessionconf - ~/sessionconf.bak - ~/.config/autostart/sessionconf.desktop Or run this at terminal: rm ~/session.config ; rm ~/sessionconf ; rm ~/sessionconf.bak ; rm ~/.config/autostart/sessionconf.desktop -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771896 Title: No way to save current session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/771896/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 997605] [NEW] Disabling IPv6 autoconfiguration in sysctl.conf doesn't affect boot process
Public bug reported: When you put the following lines in sysctl.conf net.ipv6.conf.all.autoconf = 0 net.ipv6.conf.all.accept_ra = 0 the expeced result is to disable IPv6 autoconfiguration at bootup, but, actually, it does nothing, because sysctl.conf network settings are applied after network has been started. So what happens: 1. Network interfaces are started by /etc/init.d/networking 1a. IPv6 uses autocnfiguratin, because it is enabled at this point 2. Re: [Bug 997080] Re: Window menu missing in Calc [lo-menubar 0.1.0-0ubuntu4]
Christopher. Thanks for getting back to me; I will be sure to run apport in the future. FYI, when I ran apport for this bug, I noticed something off in the results. It reported that my architecture was AMD-64. The computer in question is an ACER TravelMate 8472-7254 running on an Intel i5 core. Regards, Patrick On Wed, May 9, 2012 at 6:21 PM, Christopher M. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 997080 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. [Bug 933776] Re: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows. It shows only windows from curent workspace.
@Corey: This is not a discussion forum. But as I said, you don't need to install the dependencies. If you're interested in such stuff check out the Ubuntu packaging documentation. When I test the fixed package it will be automatically built by pbuilder in a chroot environment (so your own system is not affected). When the test is successful I'll just run bzr lp-propose and the fixes are sent to the compiz developers for review. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933776 Title: [regression] Initiate Window Picker for All Windows does not show all windows.
