Indeed, I have just tried the 295.49 driver from nvidia, removing
everything nvidia from ubuntu previously and I still got the freeze.
I also installed latest oneiric kernel with the same result to see if I
get lucky as @yorgasor and still got the total freeze.

The same problem affects the Nicaragua's locale file (es_NI.UTF-8).

Ubuntu 12.04: keyboard layout
I was using a customised version of the french layout file with two
different layouts. Now the first one, French (alternative) if I click
show layout chart shows the layout as it should but when I type the
modified characters don't work but revert to the non-modified versions
of the characters.
In my case the bug started occuring after installing the Ryzom game
from the Ubuntu Software Center. The game crashed, so I deinstalled it,
but the bug remained. It pops up several times a day.

version of openssl which is 1.0.1.
As it does not have one, it defaults to openssl.cnf which does not exist.

I used the upload dialog at skydrive.live.com (although I'm sure any will

Can you please confirm that you are running ubuntu one as an executable in
windows . As in did you download a .exe file to install it?
Can you please try to reinstall the ubuntu one software and try again, from
the description it does not sound like a ubuntu bug but rather a bug with
ubuntu
Apart from the comment mentioned above can you confirm that you have
installed the graphics drivers for your system. Can you also describe
the problem further-i.e. does it always happen or does it only happen
during specific events...

I've forced python-qt4 to the official Ubuntu version with synaptic and now it
works.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 on my Dell Inspiron Switch. There is an error
in my start bar at the top. It says failed to update, please perform
update. So when I click on it, it fails to initialize the update

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #993581, so is being marked as such.
It opens but fails to convert from EPUB to MOBI with several books (also
one i know it worked a time ago).
