Sorry but I am not really expert in that I have read the debugging
tutorial and I tried to use Gdb and Valgrind I succeed in use them with
a program like Vlc but with nautilus that should be the program to test
as a matter of fact I have to open properties of folder or file with
right mouse button
I've been able to circumvent this problem by touching the appropriate
files in /var/lib/apt/lists/ right before updating the apt cache.

Confirming this on 12.04, unity-2d. In my case, not only does not

Like Oz123, i notice this behavior after my x121e (intel) shuts down
hardly with an empty battery. A bios reset is not an option for me,
