No, this problem was always present, but android users could work around
it by setting their Android device to mass storage mode. That feature
has now been removed as of android 4, so this issue now needs to be
addressed. On Windows 7 I can connect my Android device via USB and it

I upgrade to xubuntu 12.04. So far it is working okay but I didn't
test it enough yet.
The first time I booted xubuntu 12.04, it started with "INPUT NOT
SUPPORTED" but only briefly and then it booted into the correct
resolution for my monitor. I don't yet know if it will boot into the
correct reso
Oops, I forgot to add the acpi_backlight=vendor kernel parameter. I'm
now seeing the same behavior as everyone else, with the above
configuration.

The problem appears to be that you have non-standard unity packages with
version:
5.12+bzr2352ubuntu0+700
when they should be version:
5.12-0ubuntu1
as shown here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity
To fix the problem, please run 'software-properties-gtk' and untick all
OK, so with debian/patches/061_multiarch_module_fallback.patch re-
enabled I can confirm that applications work fine with Adwaita, but
crash with Unico.
If you are testing, build from the branch and install the packages but

Ryzom is what I installed to make this start as well - now the crash
reports show up any time I start up the computer. The only way I've
found to get rid of them is a fresh install ( obviously works ) -
reporting the error seems to crash and just tries to report it again.
