After the upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04, the desktop was painfully slow,
the lightdm process took 100% on a single core. Applying the workaround
from bug #1005642 fixed the problem for me. Still, a very serious issue!
My hardware: HP xv6200 workstation with 4x Xeon 2.8 GHz, NVIDIA
graphics.

dhclient3 sends wrong discover
OK So this bug has something to do with Kernel 3.2, I have just
upgraded the Kernel to 3.4 and I can now see Auto-mute and everything is
working 100%.
As I am not as techy as I would have liked to have been I just used the
following commands in terminal, which started off the process to upgrade
QQ daily build install 2 June updated as of 4 June was just using
nautilus to look around the partitions for a file.

(Volume0). Volume0 contains two partitions (NTFS and LVM2 PV).

The problem is an incompatibility of CUPS' IPP backend with the printer.
As the recent fixes on CUPS did not cover this problem, we have reopened
the CUPS task.
One can work around the problem by connecting to the printer with
another protocol than IPP, preferably JetDirect/AppSocket which is
