I haven't had a chance to test the upstream kernel yet, but I upgraded
my workstation to Raring, and with 3.8.0-5-generic, I can now run my
benchmark without the card-reader being powered off. However, it's

This causes a real problem with Gtk Perl applications. There are no Perl
modules to create indicators for Gtk3 (that I could find). All I could
find was Gtk2::AppIndicator. You are effectively forcing Perl developers
to Gtk2 rather than allowing us to move forward to Gtk3 development.

Tested upstream kernel but removing device and attempting to re-pair
with it caused a further hang. Did not have time to test with booting as
I am leaving for the weekend, and will only be able to monitor bug from
another machine (which I may test adapter on :P)
