If a pdf figure has been included in a .fig, it is then impossible to export to
any other format. Reproducing the bug is very simple:
- first either create a simple pdf with xfig a find a pdf figure somewhere.
- then create a new .fig figure with xfig, import the pdf figure
3.5.0-20-generic was the last one that did not show the problem.
24-generic also fails.

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1037518, so is being marked as such.
I build it with debugging information and it didn't crash! But the when
the game started the client crashed. The server stayed up though.

Nautilus and Gthumb, both of those use Gvfs to fetch photos/videos from
cameras. (I wonder if there's some special handling in Gvfs that
Shotwell could use here?)
Shotwell has a built-in logger that might help track this down. If you
set the environment variable SHOTWELL_LOG=1 you may get some
