While translating to Spanish some text from the Keyboard Shortcuts
Overlay, I noticed pieces of text which I considered badly structured
for translation.
I am not sure but I think it is caused by using string concatenation of
translatable strings or the like.
To confuse matters, the kernel images include apparently more recent
images: 3.5.0-28-generic ..
Technically, that's the older kernel from Ubuntu 12.10; note the 3.5, vs
3.8 for others.

I've recently started using f.lux and settled on this program for when
I'm using Linux. I ran into this and investigated the issue a bit. It
appears that the problem is hostip.info simply isn't reliable. Geoclue
via hostip was working fine until my ability to reach the server ended.

The problem appears to be the Tor network. The keyring does not perk up
when not connected to the Tor network.
This is still a problem because Tor network users have it connected
routinely. The software updater also checks in routinely. The keyring
problem will therefore occur routinely.
