If you read the comments above you will find that this bug is most definetly
not fixed!
I also changed the wireless the card from my laptop, which is the only proper
workaround. If you want I can install the old card to confirm it is still not
working properly, but the word of

ubiquity does not detect Windows 8(UEFI)

Ok with the latest saucy builds 13.10 the hud is not searching the indicators
yet. Hopefully it will be fixed in time for 13.10 because it's very useful to
search diodon and other indicators. HUD can still search the application menus
though.

You can try Ubuntu 13.04 if you want to check if PulseAudio 3.0
addresses the problem (I'm not actually sure). I'd recommend downgrading
to PulseAudio 1.1 instead, but I am not sure if that is even possible.
Otherwise, there is probably not much to do, other than wait for the
next LTS release.
Alex-milivojevic, Saucy you could test on a live environment. As well,
if this problem is reproducible in a prior live environment, chances are
you are testing to this problem correctly. The mainline kernel test
would not require a reinstall to test.

In the mockup the buttons have different widths. And our code does not

1. Description of the problem:
Libre office generates a General input/outup error. when attempting to modify
and save a document on UBUNTU 12.04LTS if the same document is open in paralel
in windows as Read only.

This is still broken in LTS. I don't know the specific policies, but I
assumed LTS would get these type of fixes?

Another update, since I continue to be interested in this one even
though it's fixed for me :)
Ubuntu 12.10 and 13.04 users received a kernel update last night that
includes the other patch. That means also users of Ubuntu 12.04.2 and
12.04.3 LTS:s (to be released on Thursday), which use the
Davor Cubranic, could you please confirm this issue exists with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal

Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse losing
I have exactly the same problem, but not only with wirless mouse and
keyboards from Logitech, also normale wired usb-mouses and keyboards let
my Ubuntu freeze.
I have Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS and using kernel: 3.2.0-52-generic
