Hi,
I had exactly same problem and I solved it.
My ubuntu 13.04 is installed on Intel SATA 2 SSD but was connected to
the Motherboard on SATA 3 connector (in the past, this drive was for
windows partition and no errors with the Marvell chipset SATA 3 with
SATA 2 drive). I switch my SSD on SATA 2
Please stop using icu-config, instead use provided pkg-config files.
Icu has transitioned to be multiarch, and thus one can have i686, amd64,
armhf etc libicu-dev's co-installed and icu-config is not flexible
enough to tell one which one should be used.
pkg-config on the other hand can resolve it

It's still a problem in ghostscript_9.10 — not that pdfopt was much use
anyway. It's always better to create PDFs at the size you need them then
try to squish them afterwards. Also, the often recommended pdf2ps/ps2pdf
route will likely break a lot of PDF files out there.

I had the same problem in 13.04 but after I changed in CCSM/Ubuntu Unity
Plugin/Launcher/Duration of Sticky Edge Release after Break from 1000 to
0 the dash autohide is working all the time (changed this for about two

It has improved things, but it hasn't fixed it. I now have about one

For the case with cpufreq on 12.04.3 using the 3.8 kernel LTS enablement
stack, I've found that the /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand
folder doesn't exist on boot. It seems to appear some time later. Maybe
30 - 60 s after boot. I have resorted to putting the below in

Layout indicator is always present for me on screensaver, but hotkeys

Just had the same problem after a (normal) restart on a Macbook Retina
10,1. Sound wasn't working anymore and most applications using sound
hung up/waited for a ling time and then crashed (most annoyingly
flashplayer, which caused firfox to hang). After deleting the folder
pulse, sound instantily
