I've removed 3.12.0-031200-generic and that fixed the issue. I then
went on to do a clean install just for the peace-of-mind that my system
doesn't have any left-overs from all the up/cross-grading of packages in

When I go to select a package, the select one dropdown list is
unpopulated, and I am not sure exactly what you mean by a package name.

About two weeks ago I have updated BIOS to the latest version for my
N56VZ and it didn't changed anything, but later I have installed Ubuntu
13.04, and now I have this problem quite infrequent! I can't judge the
