I confirm acpi_osi='!Windows 2012' kernel boot parameter works for me,
too (on an HP ProBook 450 G1), with Linux Mint 16 KDE (based on Ubuntu

That's a problem with the wine dependencies. It shouldn't be an explicit
dependency on ocl-icd-libopencl1. For other 32-bit packages that depend
on libopencl-1.1-1, picking either ocl-icd-libopencl1 or nvidia-
libopencl-1.1-1 should work. This needs to be Multi-Arch aware.

Hi ALL,
I have to report the same problem on my Ubuntu 14.04 (previously - 13.10 and
12.04 - everything was okay) with my USB drive (WD My Passport).
There is no crashlog and the system hangs few seconds after I plugged-in the
USB cable and I cannot type any CLI command, only mouse works, but

under gnome-panel (flashback session), background is transparent and the
window cannot be resized with the mouse. when the window border is
clicked, the window context menu appears instead.

fwiw for package maintainers and as workaround for users, I did
sudo apt-get remove xdot
to remove the ubuntu-package-based xdot, an then
git clone https://github.com/jrfonseca/xdot.py
and then
sudo ln -s

cd /usr/local/

It's unclear (to me) why you ran X diagnostics for that issue.
Can you elaborate on the USB stick issue? Are you trying to boot the
stick, mount it, or something else?
If you plug in the USB, what is the output of:
lsusb
sudo fdisk -l

I'm seeing it too on Debian with FF/iceweasel 29.0.1
I'm using nvidia proprietary driver and you're using open-source radeon, so I
don't think it's an issue with video driver.
I cannot reproduce the issue on chromium (it works there).
