not able to upgrade from 12.4 to 14.4
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial
Not sure it's the same case (it looks like); if not, tell me, and I will
open another bug report.
Using Ubuntu 12.04 32 bits, `fakeroot-ng` does not work at all, do
nothing, without even an error message, and always returns `2` as the
exist status.

They are actually different things: LUKS is unlocked at boot, while eCryptFS is

positioned underneath the page header so there appears to be no feedback
to the user while checking. Should the label be vertically centered as

Just an update, I have upgraded to kernel 3.15.5 and removed grub option
acpi=off. The system no longer reboots during a session, but it will not
shut down! Instead of shutting down it reboots...
