I am also affected by this regression.
It looks like Wheezy disables udev for md and uses an rc-script for assembling
at boot; therefore it will not automatically assemble arrays after boot.
Trusty assembles real devices during and after boot, but seems to ignore
virtual devices like /dev/md0.

The backtrace shows that the crash happens in GStreamer's video decoding
pipeline. This is a bug in GStreamer, not thumbnailer.
Furthermore this bug is not really fixable unless someone provides a
test file that invokes the crash.

Having the same issue myself.
Xorg process gradually consumes more and more RAM over time until the
desktop becomes unusable and either crashes, or needs to be rebooted to
get going again.

When you use upstream source then please contact upstream. And yes,
mupen64plus tries to use the resolution specified inside the config.
SDL_WINDOW_FULLSCREEN_DESKTOP will just use a large borderless window to
simulate fullscreen but should not change the resolution.

The settings code didn't change for a while and is working on desktop/n4
configuration, nobody in desktop has access to a Krillin device to look
at the issue, so somebody is going to need to help us debugging there.
Since the
