I too am currently having the same problem. custom build - MSI FM2-A75IA-E53,
A8 6600K apu, 4gb Gskill, and OCZ ssd.
Constant reboot after instalation.
It will not restart as long as my mouse is moving weird but true.
Finally installed.
Running 14.04 AMD64
It hasn't restarted in an hour.
Tested in mako HW, image 188:
