The system test of the backlight controls pass, but periodically there
is a loss of control of the backlight control where trying to brighten
the screen or dim it with the keyboard controls does

It only works with suspend though, not after hibernate. When after hibernate

I started getting this error immediately after the 12.04LTS to 14.04 LTS
upgrade. Like Andrew above, I'm running 64-bit Ubuntu, although in my
case it's the only OS on the system.

The latest Vivid image on mako (84)[1] causes the sound notification to
popup each time the system starts or stops a sound. When the sound stops
the notification indicates that the sound is muted, when it is in fact
not. In the Music app, for instance, this is quite annoying.
hm. the last few times i have tried it now, restart worked fine, no
matter if from suspend, suspend-hybrid or hibernate - maybe the one time
described above was just bad luck or a combination of things ...

the default setting for when power is critically low in power settings
is suspend,but it can't be setted to suspended(i don't know the
reason), you can input command: gsettings set org.gnome.settings-
daemon.plugins.power critical-battery-action shutdown,we can set the
default setting in package

This bug is a show stopper for us as well. Juno/Utopic and we can't take
snapshots.
