This concerns krb5-auth-dialog 3.12.0-2 in Ubuntu Xenial.
When the program is invoked with the --auto option, it briefly maps the
systray icon, and then segfaults.
Here is a GDB session running on a debug build of the original package

to move your wrist and arm to move the pointer. Moving your arm and

creates as many problems as it fixes (see unity7 and unity-greeter). So
let's not do that.
I now know how to fix this properly using Inkscape. Just need to get
around to editing all 30-40 battery icons by hand. Will do it this
