Although it's hard to tell if "pulseaudio (1:10.0-2ubuntu1) artful"
fixed this because there are zero instances of this crash in artful. We
won't really know until that version gets backported to zesty. And it's
possibly still a bit too early for that.

At least since 16.04, and probably earlier, upstream have done work on
this. The Vendor and Model/Product strings are processed and common un-
needed words are removed (e.g. "Intel Corporation" becomes "Intel") so I
think this can be marked as Fixed.

My first attempt at reproducing this bug has failed.
I am using an Nvidia Quadro K620 card in a desktop where I usually just
use the integrated Intel graphics. And I have installed nvidia-375
375.66-0ubuntu1. The result is that Ubuntu 17.10 boots perfectly. VTs
are using efifb. GDM and

Unfortunately that turned out to be a fluke. I had two freezes on
4.11.12, and just a freeze a minute ago on fresh 4.13.rc3 installed from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/. No panics though.

This bug should not be classified as invalid, in every Ubuntu 17.04
installation that I do on several computers, thunderbird is not in
Gnome-Software, and yet the workaround shown above did not work.
