I installed refind by naming it grubx64.efi.
Shimx64 launches it very well in NON SECURE mode.
But, if I change the bios to switch to SECURE mode, SHIMX64 does not succeed in
launching it. Which is normal. but it does not launch MMX64.EFI that would
allow me to define this "grub" as secure.

the Ubuntu recommended configure options. Hence the plugins are expected

No, it just had the best result out of everything I have tried. It still hangs
occasionally, especially after a cold boot.

was the one provided by "Alexander Stohr", i.e., install openntpd (which
failes), then remove the symlink /usr/sbin/openntpd -> ntpd and then

I have the same problem, but with gpg-agent, which also reverse-depends
on graphical-session-pre.target.
Also upgraded from 17.04 (clean install) to 17.10.
I'm not sure where when the --user graphical-session-pre.target is

This update just arrived on my ThinkPad Yoga S1, but sadly it didn't
change anything. Still bios changes disappear after booting Xubuntu
17.10.
