Contacting the vendor and sending computers in, means paying a lot of
money for something that the end-users haven't caused on their hardware.
What is more, Lenovo clearly states that Linux is unsupported so, their
options are limited in terms of providing support. That is why they have
advised me to send my laptop to them and have the motherboard replaced.
Post 112 clearly states that Lenovo and Canonical are working on sorting
out the problem and I am waiting for a way to make my laptop work again
as it did before upgrading to Ubuntu 17.10. And I refuse to pay for any
kind of hardware replacement in this case, to be frank. Someone has to
take responsibility for all the damage that has been caused.
