Just now possible: - Needs apparmor 2.12.1, 2.11.2, and 2.10.4 - So libvirt needs hard dependency on that - New syntax is like: include if exists (<...>|"...") so just like regular includes with "if exists" between the include and the path Next steps: wait until new apparmor is ready and then work on patches for upstream. Note: might need a compile time check on apparmor version it is built against to not fail on older apparmor (OR the hard dependency in packaging, but for upstream some config/compile time check would be nicer). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1745114 Title: Please add guest uuid and guest-generic local include files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1745114/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1745049] Re: Bumblebee crashes during boot with kernel 4.13.0.31 on Bionic
I found out that the 4.13.0.31 kernel was from the artful security repo. When I use 'dkms status' it shows that the bumblebee and nvidia kernel modules appear to be present. I just tried booting with the 4.14.0.31 kernel again. This time it did not crash. However, it appeared that my graphics card lost its' capability and the screen was drawing windows very slowly. [Bug 1736116] Re: Host with kernel 4.13 freezes when starting a VM with VirtualBox
@LocutusOfBorg, first of all, thank you very much for your continuous effort in maintaining VirtualBox. After you mentioned that "upstream vbox ships a custom qt version", I asked about it in #vbox, and they said: > [...] qt5 was pretty much unusable rubbish until 5.5/5.6. and then they > decided to change the license for 5.7, which means that going there requires > review by Oracle legal. > [...] the "ship library" approach is what we use for the ubuntu LTS packages > on virtualbox.org - slap a number of qt5.6 libs into the vbox package. which > would cause seizures for a debian/ubuntu packager :P And, talking about this particular issue, > [...] to be accurate: we don't have the faintest idea why things blow up. So unless Debian/Ubuntu somehow make an exception and allow us to ship Qt 5.6 in parallel with other Qt 5.x versions, either bundled with apps that need it, or as a separate package... ...getting vbox 5.2.x to Ubuntu 16.04 isn't an easy task. *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1700306 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1700306 Public bug reported: I just know something's amiss - I'm running Ubuntu 17.10 and got an error report, which asked if I wanted to report it, so clicked on "OK" -hopefully, there will be enough information included for you to make something of it AND also eventually resolve it - it seems to me that Ubuntu is getting buggier and buggier as time goes on? Otherwise, I know squat about what is actually going on - this computer is a Dell notebook that originally had Windows 7 on it, so I ended up taking MS up on upgrading to Win8, not realizing what MS was actually "giving me" was Win8 Beta, and when Win8 was actually released I'd be required to reinstall Windows 7 once again - one I did attempt to reinstall Windows(r) 7 from the supplied by Dell DVD, the driver for it would no longer connect to the internet! [Bug 1745258] Re: NFS shares from GUI window manager is read only regardless permission
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1745258/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package. Public bug reported: 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using: Ubuntu 17.10 2) The version of the package you are using: 3.24.2-0ubuntu4 3) What you expected to happen: The input prompt should behave the same, no matter what the working directory is. 4) What happened instead: The cursor starts overlapping the working directory text (see attached screenshot, which shows a 80×24 terminal window in a directory called “/home/test/01234567890123456789/01234567890123456789/a/01234567890123456789/01234567890123456789/01234567890123456789/01234567890123456789”). On text input, the inputted text overwrites the working directory text. When pressing backspace, the entire second line is deleted (including the $ character). This makes using the history (up arrow) very confusing because afterwards, the actual input line characters do not seem to correspond to the displayed text anymore, i.e. characters inserted at a certain point are actually shifted in the resulting line, making it very difficult to properly type in commands. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Screenshot illustrating the issue" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1745271/+attachment/5042542/+files/screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1745271 Title: Input prompt behaves incorrectly if working directory path spans two lines To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1745271/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

and for the mitaka-proposed, looks like the same. the keystone version is: ``` root@ubuntu:~# apt-cache policy keystone keystone: Installed: 2:9.3.0-0ubuntu3.1~cloud0 Candidate: 2:9.3.0-0ubuntu3.1~cloud0 Version table: *** 2:9.3.0-0ubuntu3.1~cloud0 0 500 http://ubuntu-cloud.archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/mitaka/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2014.1.5-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/main amd64 Packages 1:2014.1.3-0ubuntu2.1 0 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security/main amd64 Packages 1:2014.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages ``` but listing users still doesn't take much time, about 10 seconds: ``` root@ubuntu:~# time openstack user list --domain default real0m9.662s user0m1.284s sys 0m0.232s ``` so seems that I can't reproduce this problem, do you have any suggestions? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1582585 Title: the speed of query user from ldap server is very slow To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1582585/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1729389] Re: [Intel 8260/8265] Bluetooth peripherals work for a few seconds, then don't react
I had previously worked around this problem using the solution in comment #17. Now I just upgraded to linux-firmware 1.157.15, as I saw it in my Ubuntu Xenial updates and it referenced fixing this bug. I therefore removed the workaround in comment #17 and rebooted. The problem returned immediately (I tried multiple reboots and reconnects). Bluetooth still disconnects after a period of time if wifi is also connected. I had to reinstate the workaround in comment #17 again to have a working mouse, even with the new linux-firmware update. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 kernel 4.13.0-31. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1729389 Title: [Intel 8260/8265] Bluetooth peripherals work for a few seconds, then don't react To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1729389/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
