I have the same issue, while got new monitor to my T420 - tried to mess
a bit with color profiles - set up test profile Blue and Green swapped.
Actually monitor colors did not change, but jpeg images got skewed
colors. Removed profiles, it does not help.

I've attached the output of fwupd.
I've disabled the security in BIOS. I've looked into doing the
/sys/bus/thunderbolt auth trick, but the device does't appear in there.

I am doing an "apt update" before the install, but it's a separate step so may
not be being executed recently enough (due to Docker caching images). I updated
the docker file to do it on the same line and that seems to work. It is running

Nevermind. Doing some research I found out that, ONLY IN MY CASE (not
for normal Ubuntu image), the system-root is mounted on /overlay. This
was done to preserve the root modification, so during the boot that
/overlay is copied into the /. The problem is that in order to update

My problem with iwl3945, (no wifi and no report of firmware load,
comments #19 and on) seems to have been resolved. I don't know what
caused it initially, but after removing *all* apparently-broadcom-
related packages wifi works on two hp6710b laptops running fully updated
xenial with the HWE stac

The workaround of killing the 100%-cpu-consuming Compiz process in a
ctrl+alt+f1 terminal always works, and systematically, after that, after the

I don't know if it's the case here, but I've seen *new* apparmor
profiles not being applied because the apparmor cache file had, for some
reason, a more recent timestamp. That made the system use the cache file
instead of the correct changed config file.
